His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision based on the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Education, to renew the appointment of His Excellency Dr. Iskandar bin Muhammad bin Adam Hausawi as Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Leith for a tenure of two years, from 05 Ramadan, 1440 A.H., in addition to his current work. His Excellency Prof. Abdullah asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help Dr. Iskandar and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.

His Excellency's decision is part of the comprehensive developmental activity that the university is witnessing in all fields. It is also part of the university's earnest endeavors to achieve its goals, fulfill its vision, and accomplish its future mission in order to be the leader in terms of its various programs and activities that are in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030.
