Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, this morning held an interactive workshop clarifying the programs of the Saudi vision 2030. This workshop included a detailed explanation about the goals of "The Quality of Life and Development of the National Industry and Logistic Services Program", and the manner of writing and offering initiatives that go in line with the targets of the vision and national transformation program 2020. The workshop was organized at King Abdulaziz Hall in Al-Abdiyyah.
The General Supervisor of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, Dr. Ihab Malibari, offered a presentation concerning the vision and the orientation of the office in the coming period. He explained that the office aims at building a pioneering environment for the affiliates of the university and its different sectors to offer creative and qualitative initiatives that contribute in achieving the vision, and enable the university to achieve its strategic goals that are in line with the University Empowerment Plan 2023.
Dr. Ihab Malibari declared that the goal of establishing the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office at Umm Al-Qura University springs from the keenness of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, on achieving institutional distinction. The office aims at working according to a methodology plan to achieve initiative management governance and carry out a strategic plan that contributes in achieving sustainability and self-employment. He added that the initiatives of the office will not be directed to just inside the university, but the office will actively participate in designing and managing initiatives for the three different sectors to participate in spreading the culture of the kingdom and promoting the national identity and Islamic values.
The Deputy General Supervisor of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, Dr. Faisal Barwais, offered a detailed explanation about the "Life Quality Program", and the types of fields that go in line with the initiatives that promote the success of the program. Additionally, the office offered a short account about the most important international indicators for measuring satisfaction and the quality of life, and the aspirations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to reach the highest levels attainable in the quality of life.
Dr. Faisal Barwais added that the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office opens the door before all the affiliates of Umm Al-Qura University to accept their initiatives supporting the targets of the programs of the Saudi vision 2030. Moreover, it offers all types of support to high quality initiatives in order to transform them to applicable programs in a way that promotes the university's contribution in achieving the Saudi vision 2030.
