His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, has issued an administrative decision, based on the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Education, to appoint Her Excellency Dr. Rania bint Ali bin Ahmad Abdul-Rahman as Dean of the College of Designs for a tenure of two years, from 20 Muharram, 1441 A.H. His Excellency asks Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to help her and grant her success in performing her duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.
His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, congratulated Dr. Rania Abdul-Rahman on her appointment as Dean of the College of Designs, and on gaining the trust of His Excellency the Minster of Education, who issued the decision to enable her to serve her country and society from this leading position. His Excellency also appreciated the support given by the rulers of this country (may Allah help them) to women in order to enable them to contribute to the national comprehensive development. The UQU President also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, for this decision, which is in line with Saudi Vision 2030, and wished Dr. Rania progress and success in her endeavors to serve the university.
The new Dean of the College of Designs, Dr. Rania Abdul-Rahman, expressed her deep thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership (may Allah grant it success) for supporting and empowering Saudi women, and granting them the status that befits them. She also considered the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, a part of this wise approach. In addition, she appreciated the trust that His Excellency bestowed on her by appointing her as Dean of the College of Designs. Moreover, she expressed her thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, for his support, and also thanked Her Excellency the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs.
