His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, stressed that the National Day is a special occasion that gathers all people under its umbrella. This event inspires us with the sublime signs of cohesion between the wise leadership in this great country and its loyal people. It reminds us of the values and gains that were achieved for this country in the course of 89 years of great national unity.

On Tuesday, when launching the first activities celebrating this event at his office in the presence of the vice presidents, the advisor and supervisor of the office of His Excellency, the director general of his office, the deputy director general of his office, the general supervisor of the Legal Department, the Director of the Public Relations and Media Department, His Excellency stressed saying: "Our religious and national duty obliges us to thank Allah, the Almighty, for the blessings He has bestowed upon us in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The first of these blessings are security, faith, and the good standard of living provided to citizens and residents alike."

Finally, Prof. Abdullah supplicated that Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) would continue to bless our country with development, prosperity, and stability under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince (may Allah protect them both), and their wise government.
