The committee is working on the realization of the vision which was proposed by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ advisor. Such a vision targets human beings before places, and was thus prioritized by the committee. Dr. Assas appreciated the efforts made by the technical committee which aims at achieving the highest levels of safety for all the manpower working in the project as well as all the visitors of the Grand Mosque.

In this regard, Dr. Wafa stated that the visit came within the framework of the regular meetings held to follow up the work of the committee and its participation in the projects. He added that the technical committee is made up of around 200 highly qualified and experienced Saudi engineers who were provided with professional training courses. He also pointed out that the committee takes part in the Grand Mosque projects through the tasks of ensuring the quality of concrete and applying safety requirements. In addition, he confirmed that the committee annually offers training to students of the colleges of engineering in Saudi universities, and that around 150 students will be trained this year.
