Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, participated in the launching ceremony for the Poetic Encyclopedia on Wednesday, 12 Muharram, 1441 A.H., at the office of his Excellency the President of the University in Al-Abdiyyah. The ceremony was broadcast by closed circuit television at Al-Jawharah Hall in Al-Zahir. The ceremony was attended by their Excellencies the vice deans, the academic staff members, and the female students.

The event started with a recitation of the glorious Qur'an. Then, the Vice President for Female Student Affairs delivered a speech in which she welcomed the female advisor of King Abdulaziz University, Prof. Suluh bint Muslih Al-Surihi, and the attendants. She pointed out that the Arabic language is the way to read and understand the eternal Book of Allah. Thus, caring for it is an obligation that reaches a degree of personal obligation. In conclusion, she thanked all those who participated in this encyclopedia.

At the end of the ceremony, researchers participating in the Poetic Encyclopedia were honored and gifts were given to them.
