Dr. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Rasini, Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, paid a visit to the Deanship of Library Affairs on Thursday, 6 Muharram 1441 A.H. His Excellency was received by the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Lihaibi, the Vice Dean, Dr. Mus`ab Al-Ja`id, the Vice Dean for Academic Development, Dr. Hassan Al-Thubaiti, and a number of department heads at the Deanship of Library Affairs. His Excellency toured the departments of the deanship, and was briefed on the services provided by them.

A meeting was then convened between Dr. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Rasini and the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Lihaibi, as well as Dr. Mus`ab Al-Ja`id, Dr. Hassan Al-Thubaiti, and Dr. Aminah Al-Ahmadi, the Vice Dean of the female branch. During the meeting, His Excellency listened to a presentation by the Dean of Library Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Lihaibi, and Dr. Aminah Al-Ahmadi. The presentation was accompanied by a PowerPoint slideshow featuring existing and future services undertaken by the deanship, in addition to some initiatives which the deanship wishes to undertake and provide to the community.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Rasini expressed his admiration for the services offered by the deanship, and praised the work being carried out. He also thanked the dean, the vice deans, and the deanship's staff for the efforts they were exerting in the deanship.
