His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, has issued an administrative decision, based on the decision of the Minister of Education, appointing His Excellency Dr. Jabir bin Saeed bin Al-Husain Al-Zahrani as Dean of the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah for a tenure of two years, from 14 Dhul-Hijjah, 1440 A.H. His Excellency Prof. Abdullah asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help Dr. Jabir and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of the university to enable it to reach its desired goals.
His Excellency's decision is part of a comprehensive development that the university is witnessing in all fields. It is also part of the university's earnest endeavors to achieve its goals, fulfill its vision, and accomplish its future mission in order for it to be a pioneer in terms of its various programs and activities that are in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030.
