The Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Emir of Makkah region, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, honored the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research for its outstanding efforts in the success of the campaign "Hajj is a Form of Worship and a Civilized Behavior", for the year 1440 A.H.
The Dean of the Institute, Dr. Basim Qadi, received the prize during the press conference of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid to launch the awareness raising media campaign "Hajj is a Form of Worship and a Civilized Behavior", under the slogan of "Hajj is a Message of Peace" in its twelfth round. This was in the presence of his deputy, Prince Badr bin Sultan.
Dr. Basim Qadi said that the institute plays a pioneer role in serving the mission of Hajj through the research programs it implements annually, whose number exceeds 70 studies and programs during the two seasons of Ramadan and Hajj and throughout the year. The research programs are in a number of the fields that serve systems of Hajj and Umrah in the fields of management, economy, social and human sciences, environment and health, urbanization and engineering, awareness raising and media, as well as technologies and their applications.
