The program is offered to (1200) male and female teachers in the smart halls in the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality in Al-Abdiyyah.

The Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ali Al-Matrifi, reviewed the training packages of the Summer Training Program, targeting nearly 1200 male and female teachers, in terms of a number of the developmental practices with regard to their performance relevant to the themes of curricula, the methods of teaching, leadership, and education for adults; assessment and evaluation; and special education. He pointed out that the trainees were divided into 8 groups to receive training every week, for a period of one month.

He said that these themes will be provided by elite academic staff specialized in pedagogical sciences through a series of coherent training packages that tackle constructive learning; learning outcomes for improving the educational process; skills of dealing with the different patterns of adult learners; and teaching practices based on proofs and evidences for teaching persons with disabilities. These packages will all assist the male and female teachers in improving and developing their teaching practices.

Dr. Abdul-Majeed Al-Ghamdi welcomed the teachers, affirming that they are considered the pivot of the development of society. He pointed out that, from this standpoint, UQU was keen on the provision of these special programs, in collaboration with the National Center for Professional Education Development, to contribute to the development of the teachers' skills in order to build a generation that serves their religion, homeland, and society.
