Prince Khaled Al Faisal, Emir of Makkah and advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has praised efforts exerted by the College of Dentistry to serve the community and to raise public awareness.
The prince made the remarks in a cable sent to President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas on the occasion of launching a new round of mobile medical unit campaign.
In his message, Prince Al Faisal thanked the college for its efforts after receiving a letter from Dr. Assas to brief his Highness about the campaign. Attached to the message, a CD included more details over a field tour by mobile health unit that visited Malha town, south of Makkah.
In his comments on the message, Dr. Assas voiced thanks to Prince Faisal for his keen support to activities held by the UQU, its employees and students. The president asserted that the College of Dentistry's field visits mirror a strong belief in the UQU's values. He expressed thanks to ex-dean of the College of Dentistry Dr. Mohamed Beyari and incumbent dean Dr. Abdulaziz Khutani for their efforts. He wished the college more success in serving homeland under the kind support of the Saudi leaders.
