The Department of Public Relations and Media in the female section received the female employees of the library of the Holy Mosque of Makkah on Monday, 24 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H., which coincided with the Arabic Library day. The event took place in the female section at Al-Zahir campus.
During the event, pamphlets were distributed on Ramadan programs that were being held in the adult library of the Makkan sanctuary. They mainly discussed how to interact and build good personal relationships towards a better life, and the art of dealing with mistakes from an Islamic perspective. The children's programs included: Ramadan with Tiko, the story of Prophet Yunus (peace be upon him), the story of Prophet Sulaiman (peace be upon him), and the story of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
It is worth mentioning that an introductory video was presented introducing the holy sanctuary's library and showing a copy of the original Uthmani Qur'an manuscript complied during the era of Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him), which was displayed at a corner in the library.
