On Thursday, 13 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H., under the patronage of the University Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bin Omar Al-Khouli, the Department of Public Relations and Media participated in the "Optimal Balance for a Better Community" forum held in Al-Jawharah Hall (female section).
The one-day forum included three sessions, each of which discussed three topics. The first session was held under the direction of Dr. Samira bint Ahmad Al-Abdali, Vice Dean of the University Studies, and tackled the first topic of "International Alliances: Strength and Balance". The second topic was entitled, "Talented People and Having a Constructive Balance", while the third topic was entitled, "Working Women: Between Family and Professional Roles According to the Vision 2030".
The second session was held under the direction of Dr. Hana' Abdul-Rahim Yamani. The first topic in this session was entitled, "Saudi Women and the Rise of Scientific Research: Duties and Obligations", the second topic discussed, "Saudi Women and the Balance between the Struggle of the West and the Civilization of the East", while the third topic tackled, "Entrepreneurship and the Role of Women in Achieving Sustainable Development".
The third session was held under the direction of Ms. Najla' bint Sa`id Al-Da`is, Assistant Director of the Deanship of Educational Affairs. The first topic in the third session was entitled, "The Conflict of Roles and Its Relation to Marital Balance in the Light of Some Variables". The second was entitled, "The Journey of Self-Balance in My Life", and the third was given under the title, "Towards a Deep Balance".
All sessions emphasized the importance of women and their role in the society.
