The Department of Public Relations and Media participated in a forum entitled, "My University: Confident Steps Towards the Vision and Transformation", and the accompanying exhibition. The forum was held under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and in collaboration with the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office on Sunday, 9 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H., in the presence of a number of vice deans and university affiliates.

Two sessions were held; the first of which was entitled, "Integration Towards the Realization of the Vision" and was managed and headed by His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the University. The second session was entitled, "My Experience with the Initiatives", which was managed by the General Supervisor of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, Dr. Ihab Malibari.

In his speech that he delivered after launching the website of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office and its social communication platforms, His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, highlighted the efforts of the university in achieving the programs and objectives of the ambitious vision by building a sustainable system and developing fields of education, research, development, innovation and entrepreneurship in such a manner that serves the individuals and the community.

At the conclusion of the forum, the participants and the affiliates of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office were honored.
