On Wednesday 6, Rajab, 1440 A.H., under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the Public Relations and Media Department participated in organizing a seminar entitled: "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques: Achievement in the Face of Challenges and the Future". The seminar was held to study the history of King Salman's life in the era when the founder of the country was ruling the Saudi Kingdom. It was held at King Abdul-Aziz Historical Hall in Al-Abdiyyah. It was attended by Dr. Fahd Al-Samari, the Counselor at the Royal Court and the Commissioned Secretary-General of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives; Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif, the Chair Professor; the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khouli; and the Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Halah Al-Amoudi.
At the end of the seminar, His Excellency honored the speakers and the organizers. Moreover, the Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Halah Al-Amoudi, honored the winner Eman Kayfi, for her book entitled "Social Life in Makkah during the Reign of King Abdulaziz", which is one of the scientific publications of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Chair for Studies on the History of Makkah.
