A total of 300 teachers attended the first week of the summer training program, which was organized by the College of Education in partnership with the National Center for Professional Education Development. This training process will be carried out in eight streams at the smart halls of the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality in Al-Abdiyyah.

The Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ali Al-Matrifi, asserted that these programs are offered by a group of specialized academic members and those specialized in educational sciences. These specialists will offer a reviewed series of training packages that have been designed to improve and develop teachers' teaching practices. Moreover, the dean praised their keenness to develop their professional skills and become equipped with modern developments in their fields of specializations.

He praised the support of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, to this training by designating all the potentials of the university to render this training program successful. This promotes the mission of the university in forming future generations and playing its pioneering role in the field of educational programs. He also praised the efforts of the supervising committee of this training program at the male and female sections to contribute in producing the program in the way that it was designed for.
