Umm Al-Qura University Promotes Postgraduate Programs at Buraidah and Unaizah Colleges

Umm Al-Qura University is striving all the time to strengthen its leadership role in academic partnerships with other Saudi universities and educational institutions. Recently, it signed an important partnership with Buraidah and Unaizah Universities in order to support their postgraduate programs, and for them to also benefit from the university's scientific and research staff.

During the signing of the agreement with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Buraidah Colleges and the General Supervisor of Unaizah Colleges, Dr. Abdullah Shetaiwi, His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, emphasized the role played by Umm Al-Qura University in the process of developing the academic environment for the benefit of the educational institutions. The university aims to achieve this by enhancing academic and research cooperation opportunities between the two systems with regard to postgraduate programs and the qualification of cadres for work in various scientific fields.

Dr. Al-Shetaiwi pointed out that their colleges are seeking to expand opportunities of joint cooperation with Umm Al-Qura University to raise the level of educational and research outcomes, and to benefit from academic expertise in all areas.

The signing of the agreement was attended by the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi, the Dean of Jamoum University College, Dr. Suhail Al-Harbi, the Deputy General Supervisor of Executive Affairs at Buraidah Colleges, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sekaiti, the Deputy General Supervisor for Educational Affairs and Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Al-Suwaid, the Dean of the College of Administrative and Humanitarian Sciences, Dr. Ali Al-Mihaimid, the Deputy General Supervisor of Unaizah College, Adnan Al-Yahya, and the Dean of the College of Humanitarian and Administrative Studies, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Shalash.
