The Institute of Consulting Research and Studies at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), represented by the Continuous Medical Education and Training Unit, held the first workshop after its launching ceremony with Medical Colleges’ deans and coordinators. The workshop aimed at setting plans and mechanisms of the Unit’s work for the coming period.

The workshop started with a speech in which Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Sha’ery, Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, welcomed the deans and coordinators of the Medical Colleges and expressed his congratulations on the launching of such Unit.

Then, Dr. Ayman Jawaherji, the General Supervisor of the Continuous Medical Education and Training Unit, gave a speech in which he explained the essence of the Unit’s future work and plans. 

Therefore, the mechanism of the Unit’s work was discussed with the deans and coordinators of the Medical Colleges. Everyone in the workshop was given the opportunity to suggest future ideas and visions for the Unit and the functioning thereof.

At the end of the workshop ideas were written down, recommendations were made, and the second appointment for the workshop was set.

On the other hand, and at the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Ali Al-Sha’ery, Dean of the Institute, clarified that the Unit is blessed with the continuous support by the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri Bin M'atooq Assas. He also praised the role, attention, and follow up of Dr. Nabil bin Abdulqader Koshuk , the University Vice-President for Business and Innovation.
