UQU President Takes Administrative Decisions

The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.

The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:

  1. Designating Dr. Hani bin Muhammad bin Othman al-Muallem as the Vice Dean of Medicine for a tenure of six months as of Rajab 16, 1437H;
  2. Designating Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Saeed Badreeq al-Amoodi as the Vice Dean of Medicine for Hospital Affairs for a tenure of six months as of Rajab 16, 1437H;
  3. Designating Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Ayed Al Tamim as the Vice Dean of the Higher Institute for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong for Training, adding to his work as a vice dean of the institute, for a tenure of six months, as of Rajab 7, 1437H;
  4. Renewing mandate of Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Muhammad Othman as the Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Public Health and Health Informatics for Hospital Affairs for a tenure of six months, as of Rajab 2, 1437H;
  5. Renewing mandate of Dr. Ahmed bin Mahmoud al-Sherbini al-Sayed as the Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Qunfudah Health Sciences College for Academic Affairs for a tenure of six months, as of Rajab 12, 1437H;
  6. Renewing mandate of Prof. Saleh bin Abdullah Abdulmohsin al-Fureih as the Head of the Department of Hisbah (religious oversight over public welfare) at the Higher Institute for Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong, adding to his work as the Dean of Postgraduate Studies, for a tenure of six months, as of Jumada II 3, 1437H;
  7. Appointing Dr. Omar bin Ali Omar al-Hazemi al-Harbi as the Head of the Geography Department at the College of Social Sciences, for a tenure of two years, as of Rajab 7, 1437h;
  8. Designating Dr. Khaled bin Ahmed Ismaeel al-Akwaa' as the Head of Programs Department at the College of Community Service and Continuing Education for a tenure of six months as of Rajab 7, 1437H;
  9. Renewing mandate of Prof. Ashraf bin Abdulazeem Eweis Abdulmajeed as the Supervisor of the Public Health Department at Qunfudah Health Sciences College for a tenure of six months, as of Jumada I 29, 1437H;
  10. Renewing mandate of Mr. Muhammad bin Ali Edris al-Kenani as the Supervisor of Practical Education Office at Qunfudah University College for a tenure of one year as of Jumada II 2, 1437H;
  11. Renewing mandate of Dr. Mashael bin Masood Saud al-Subhi al-Harbi as the Vice Dean of Information Technology (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years as of Rajab 9, 1437H;
  12. Renewing mandate of Dr. Aghadeer bent Salim Mustafa al-Aidarous as the Head of Educational Management and Planning at the College of Education (Girls Section), adding to her current work as the Assistant Head of Business Administration Department at the College of Business Administration (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months as of Rabeea II 1, 1437H;
  13. Designating Dr. Fayzah bent Abdulraziq Mahboob Mahboob as the Assistant Head of Biology Department at the College of Applied Sciences (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months, as of Rajab 22, 1437H;
  14. Designating Dr. Fawziyah bent Muhammad Alloush al-Barakati as the Assistant Head of Biology Department at the College of Applied Sciences (Girls Section of al-Aziziyah Campus) for a tenure of six months, as of Rajab 9, 1437H;
  15. Designating Dr. Ghada bent Muhammad Saleh Nadreen as the Deputy Supervisor of the Affiliation Program for Administrative Affairs at the Community Service and Continuing Education College (Girls Section) for a tenure of one year, as of Rajab 9, 1437H;
  16. Appointing Mr. Mahfouz bin Muhammad bin Salim Bejood at the College of Dentistry as of Rajab 7, 1437H;
  17. And designating Ms. Ghada bent Muhmmad Noaman al-Rayes as the Assistant Head of Education College Administration Department at the Zaher Deanship of University Studies as of Rajab 9, 1437H.

The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
