The father of two of our colleagues, Dr. Ali bin Hassan Abu Al-Reesh, Head of the English Language Department, and Dr. Hussein bin Hassan Abu Al-Reesh, Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences for Educational Affairs, passed away.

The funeral prayer will be offered for the deceased after Dawn (Fajr) Prayer, on Wednesday, 26 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H. He will be buried in Al-Mu`alla Cemetery. Condolences can be offered to their family in Al-Awali district, behind the health care center near the entrance to Al-Husainiyah neighborhood.

His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, offered his sincere condolences to the bereaved family on his behalf and on behalf of the university staff. He supplicated Allah (Exalted be He) to encompass the deceased with His Mercy and Forgiveness, and to grant patience and consolation to his family.

Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.
