Umm Al-Qura University
The Advisor to His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University and the Supervisor General of the Project Management Department, Dr. Muhammad bin Wasil Al-Hazimi, honored 40 university security men yesterday at the University City at Al-Abdiyyah in return for their efforts in organizing vehicle traffic inside the university campus and maintaining the security of the colleges and facilities. The men were honored in the presence of the Head of the University Security Department, Mr. Nabil Madadin.
Dr. Al-Hazimi praised the efforts of the university security men in serving the university community, including the students and the academic and administrative staff. He also highlighted their significant role in the safety and security of the university affiliates and facilities.
On his part, Mr. Nabil Madadin indicated that the department endeavors to develop its staff by explaining the methods and techniques of dealing with the public, among others. He continued, "Their efforts inside the university campus lay in maintaining the security and upgrading and applying a fully-fledged system for security and safety at the University, studying, advancing and modernizing the security and safety systems in the university buildings and utilities according to the periodical updates, and supporting the university’s plan in terms of providing a safe environment for all members of the university: academic staff, employees, students, and visitors."
