On Wednesday afternoon, 19 Sha`ban 1440 A.H., the thesis presented by student Abdullah bin Ali Shubair to obtain a master's degree in educational administration and planning was discussed under the supervision of Dr. Ubaydullah bin Salah Al-Lihyani, Associate Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the Educational Administration and Planning Department at the UQU College of Education. The thesis was entitled "Organizational Learning and its Role in Improving Functionality from the Point of View of School Leaders in the Sabia Directorate of Education."

The examination committee was comprised of the following: Dr. Hashim Bakr Hariri, Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the department and former UQU Vice President (internal examiner), and Dr. Khalid bin Sa`d Al-Salaimi, Head of the Educational Administration Department and Assistant Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the department (internal examiner).

At the end of the discussion, the student was awarded the master's degree with excellence.
