Makkah Techno-Valley Delegation Gets Acquainted with the Innovative and Inventive Projects at the Jeddah Faisalabad School

Spearheaded by Dr. Nabil ibn Abdul-Qadir Kushuk, the Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Work and Knowledge Innovation vice president and the vice chairman of the Makkah Techno-Valley board of directors, Dr. Usama ibn Rashid Ala’amri, the Makkah Techno-Valley chief executive officer and a number of officials at the Makkah Techno-Valley, the Wadi Makkah delegation had a look on the models of the gifted students at the Jeddah Faisaliah school. This took place during their visit to the school on Tuesday, November 8th, 2016, .During their visit the delegation inspected the innovative and inventive projects of the preparatory and secondary school students, which focused on the mathematics, programming and robot-building fields among others of the students’ inventive programs.

 

Still, the delegation presented a visual presentation about the Makkah Techno-Valley start-ups, and how the inventive ideas are turned into innovations shaping into products, and start-ups marketing their products domestically and internationally.

Within the same vein, Dr. Nabil Kushuk underlined that such a visit comes as part of the interest of the Makkah Techno-Valley in striking partnership with the educational sectors. Such a move aims at capitalizing on the gifted, innovative students’ minds, and honing their talents, inventions and innovations. It also helps them find a niche for themselves and possess their own start-ups and contribute to the knowledge and national economy.

For his part, Dr. Usama Ala’amri, the Makkah Techno-Valley chief executive officer, expressed his happiness with such a visit, giving them an opportunity to get acquainted with honorable examples of our gifted students, and to exchange ideas with the school’s staff. He went on stressing that the Makkah Techno-Valley harnesses all its capabilities and resources for fostering the gifted and innovative students and teachers and others, within and outside the UQU.

Similarly, Mr. Mohammed Alshahri, the Faisaliah school director, lauded the visit of the Makkah Techno-Valley delegation, hailing it as a defining moment for the school. He sees it as paving the way for a leading partnership that benefits and bears fruit to our students in particular, and the school’s staff in general.
