Ms. Ghaidaa Al-Salmi, Teaching Assistant at the College of Nursing and postgraduate student at Glasgow University in Scotland, received 2 distinction awards: Ann B Mc Naught Prize, and Incorporation of Barbers Dissertation Award. 

The Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Ayman Jawahirji, stated that the fact that one of the College of Nursing graduates who is, also, a Teaching Assistant at the college and a postgraduate student at Glasgow University in Scotland, receives such awards from one of the most prestigious universities in the world is a clear evidence for the distinction of the UQU and its colleges. Thanks to Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas for his continuous and generous support for the College of Nursing.
