College of Community Service Launches Training Courses for 1437/1438H

Represented by the Department of Training- Females Section, the College of Community Service and Continuous Education launched on Thursday 3rd Safar 1438H the training courses for the first semester of the academic year 1437/1438H. The event was sponsored by Dr. Jamila bint Makki Salti, Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, and supervised by Dr. Amal bint Ismael Al-Sini, Deputy Head of the Department of Training. The launching ceremony was attended by a group of female vice deans, heads of departments, members of staff and other female trainers from various colleges, departments and specializations.

Dr. Al-Sini inaugurated the event with a speech in which she welcomed both the attendees and the innovative female trainers. She also praised the Department’s accomplishments and programs that implement its transcendental mission and objectives of the University and community service. Moreover, she noted that there would be future plans of new and specialized quality courses that would involve quality and computer programs, in addition to other beneficial development and administration courses, God Willing! At the end of her speech, Dr. Al-Sini said, “First and at last, I thank God, the Almighty, for His grace. I, then, would like to extend my deep thanks to Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Yusuf Barqawi, the Dean of the College, for his support and care for the accomplishment of the training journey, mission and objectives of the Department of Training. I would like also to thank Dr. Jamila Salti, Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Essam Ba-Zara’ah, the Department Head, and all the Department’s female affiliates for sparing no effort to support, enhance and develop the Department.   

The program of the ceremony was characterized by variety. It was also furnished with many purposeful and valuable interventions and dialogues which aimed at the presentation of many constructive training suggestions and ideas for the future benefit of the Training Department. On top of such topics were talking about the effect of a role model on raising children and developing their intellectual and behavioral approaches, as well as highlighting the significance of providing youth with opportunities to turn their innovations and talents in all domains of life into reality.

Meanwhile, the Training Department’s means of communication with the female beneficiaries from inside and outside the University and advertisement of the courses were noted at. This was through the activation of the various social media websites and the use of all means of advertisement to announce the visual and audio training courses to be reached by the female beneficiaries on a wider scale.

The event was finalized by a speech given by Dr. Jamila Salti, Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, in which she delivered deep thanks to the Deputy Head of the Department of Training for her dedicated efforts to achieve the Department’s mission and objectives. She also thanked all the female attendees and the Department’s female affiliates for their continuous and fruitful cooperation with the Department of Training. The ceremony ended with serving the cake which was specially made for such occasion, as well as eating breakfast with very much hope that other renewable and fruitful meetings would be held, ِAllah Willing!
