His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), issued an administrative decision appointing His Excellency Dr. Faisal bin Atiq bin Ali Al-Maliki as Dean of the College of Pharmacy.

His Excellency also praised the great efforts exerted by the former Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Saud bin Salim bin Abdul-Rahim Bawazir, during his tenure as Dean of the College.

He then extended his congratulations to Dr. Faisal Al-Maliki for his appointment as Dean of the College of Pharmacy. He stressed the importance of exerting great effort to develop the college, and wished him success.

On his part, His Excellency Dr. Faisal Al-Maliki appreciated the University President's trust in him by appointing him as the Dean of the College. He stressed that he would, with Allah's help, meet his expectations. He praised the efforts made by the former dean, Dr. Saud Bawazir, pointing out that he will work to develop these efforts, to be in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030 and in accordance with the National Transformation Plan 2020.
