The Umm Al-Qura University Postgraduate Studies Deanship, Dr. Slaeh ibn Abdullah Alfraih held a meeting with the students of the overseas scholarships. The meeting took place at the Sheikh Abdul-Aziz ibn Baz hall at the Dawa’a and Theology College, at the dormitory in Ala’abidiah. It was transmitted via the close-circuit TV at the Abuala’ala hall at the Alzahir female division building.  

At the beginning of the meeting, the Postgraduate Studies Vice Dean for Scholarships and International Students, Dr. Ghasan ibn Abdul-Aziz Almahmoud underlined that the meeting aims at discussing and brining up all what counts to the postgraduate studies scholarships students in all the University’s colleges. 

Afterwards, Dr. Saleh Alfraih, the Postgraduate Studies dean, pointed out that the Deanship seeks to facilitate all what is related to the postgraduate studies students in a way that helps them achieve the goal they came for. He went on to highlight the efforts long exerted by the Kingdom in terms of securing the materialistic and emotional means for facilitating the overseas scholarship students joining the postgraduate studies. It also works on lifting all the obstacles facing them during their education life in order for the peoples of the Islamic nation to be well educated in service of the religion, and boosting the scientific cooperation between the Arab and Islamic states.  Likewise, he called on the students to show diligence and dedication for fulfilling the mission of the University and state, seeking to produce a distinctive generation armed with the useful knowledge to benefit the peoples of their countries, and to be the best messengers in delivering the Sharia’ah science.

Further, Dr. Saleh noted that all the scholarship students receive the care and interest of the Deanship’s staff, and they will be supported until they fulfill the goal they traveled for. He similarly stressed on all the students to show seriousness about seeking knowledge, and to comply with all the rules and regulations of the University they are registered in. He went on to praise the support which the University’s Supreme Department shows in terms of taking care of the students of the internal and external scholarships. He also prayed Allah to crown everyone’s endeavors with success.
