Dr. Abdudl-Aziz ibn Rashad Suruji, the Umm Al-Qura University Educational Affairs Vice Presidency, considers targeting Makkah a big crime denounced by all the Muslims worldwide. He went on to add that this outrageous act unveils to the world how reckless and helpless the huthis and their aides have become.

Still, Dr. Abdul-Aziz underlined that the Holy Sites in the Kingdom are protected by Allah, the Almighty, in the first place. And the preparations made by our country’s leadership in terms of human and weaponry deterrent capacities through which it can brings these mercenaries to their knees, and preventing them and those pushing them from committing such criminal acts.  

By the same token, Dr. Abdudl-Aziz called on the Islamic countries and their institutions to join ranks against these frivolous acts which hurt the feelings of billion and half Muslims;   in order for these vicious acts not to be repeated by them or others. He further pointed out that these groups will only be deterred by strong will and strictness from the Islamic countries and the international community, and by having them accepting legitimacy and abiding by what the Yemeni people chose, as well as not showing complacency to that regard under any reason whatsoever.
