Institute of Research & Studies Opens Unit of Continuing Medical Education

Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), represented by the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, on Wednesday, Safar 2, 1438H inaugurated the unit of Training and Continuing Medical Education (CME).

The inaugural ceremony was held at King Abdulaziz chamber in Al-Abdiyah Campus and was attended by President of the University Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas, Vice-President for Business & Innovation Dr. Nabil bin Abdul Qader Koshak and deans of colleges along with university hospital officials.

Dean of the Institute Ali Dr. Al Shaeri said the new unit is expected to improve work efficiency among health specialists through professional training courses. He asserted that the institute can launch initiatives and organize health service programs at highest professional level of medical and health care specialists.

He expressed thanks to Dr. Assas and Vice-President Dr. Koshak for their endless support given to the program and the institute's activities.
