The University Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani Ghazi, accompanied by the Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Muhammad Thabit, and the Internal Audit Team of the university paid an inspection visit to Jamoum University College on Thursday 9 Jumada Al-Thani 1440 A.H. to assess the extent of its readiness for academic and institutional accreditation.
Upon arrival at the college headquarters, the Internal Audit Team met with the dean, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sharif, and the college vice deans, along with the heads of the academic departments of both the male and female sections. Dr. Ghazi stressed the efforts being made by the Vice Deanship for Development and Entrepreneurship to fulfill the aspirations of its personnel and elevate the university to the best scientific and academic levels. He pointed out that the primary aim of this visit was to ensure compliance with the standards of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation and the satisfaction of UQU institutional accreditation requirements.
The Dean of Academic Development and Quality explained that the visit was carried out in accordance with the work plan of the deanship regarding conducting technical support visits to different colleges within the university, on the direct instructions of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail. During the visit, the audit team watched a presentation on the efforts and preparations currently underway at the college to obtain national and institutional accreditation. His Excellency the Vice Dean for Academic Development, Quality, and Community Service, Dr. Muhammad Sabhi, delivered the presentation.
The audit team toured the college and its affiliated facilities in order to carry out documents examination, inspect the facilities and equipment, and meet with students and members of the academic staff, while implementing, in the process, the instruments developed by the deanship's experts.
