UQU President Takes Administrative Decisions

The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.

The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:

  1. Renewing mandate of Dr. Saeed bin Hashem Muhammad Halawani as the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Advising, Orientation and Community Partnership, for a tenure of two years, as of Ramadan 23, 1437H;
  2. Renewing mandate of Dr. Muhammad bin Abu-Bakr bin Muhammad Ba-Salamah, as the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences for Graduate Studies and Research for a tenure of two years, as of Dhul-Qe'dah 14, 1437H;
  3. Renewing mandate of Dr. Khaled bin Ahmed Ismaeel al-Akwaa' as the Head of Programs Department at the College of Community Service and Continuing Education for a tenure of six months as of Muharram 07, 1438H;
  4. Renewing mandate of Dr. Lo'lo'ah bent Saleh bin Ayed al-Harethi as the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Student Services (Grils Section) for a tenure of two years, as of Shawwal 17, 1437H;
  5.  Renewing mandate of Dr. Alyaa bent Abdullah Ibrahim al-Jendi as the Vice Dean of the Preparatory Year for Scientific and Administrative Paths (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years as of Dhul-Qe'dah 15, 1437H;
  6. Renewing mandate of Dr. Rania bent Ghazi bin Muhammad Taha Zeini as the Head of the Department of Medical Education at the College of Medicine, for a tenure of two years as of Ramadan 26, 1437H;
  7. Designating Ms. Zahra bent Husseinan Hassan al-Shemeili al-Fahmi as the Vice Dean of Adham Unversity College (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years as of Muharram 19, 1438H; and
  8. Designating Ms. Ashwaq bent Muhsin bin Hamed al-Thaqafi as the Head of the Department of Arabic Language at Adham Unversity College (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years as of Muharram 19, 1438H.

The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
