On Tuesday, 30 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., at Umm Al-Qura University, the thesis submitted by the student Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Jabri to obtain a Ph.D. degree in the major of educational administration and planning was discussed. The Ph.D. research was carried out under the supervision of Professor Turki bin Kadimis Al-Utaibi, Head of the Department of Educational Administration and Planning and Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the College of Education, Umm Al-Qura University. The title of the thesis is: "Developing Performance of the Special Education Leaders at the Public Education Sector in Light of the Learning Organization: A Proposed Conception".

The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Saad bin Muhammad Al-Muhaimeed, the former Vice Dean of the College of Social Sciences in Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and the Associate Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the Department of Educational Administration and Planning in the College of Education, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (external examiner), and Prof. Dr. Abbas Bellah Muhammad, Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the Department of Educational Administration and Planning, Faculty of Education (internal examiner). At the end of the discussion, the student obtained a Ph.D. degree with Excellence.
