UQU President Meets the Affiliates of Hajj and Umrah Research Institute

President of Umm Al-Qura University met with the affiliates of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research on Wednesday Muharram 18, 1438 H in the presence of the Dean of the Institute Dr. Faisal Al-Alaf, Vice Deans and all the researchers and administrative staff. The meeting took place at the Heritage Hall in the Institute. 
 


After initiating the ceremony with a Quranic recitation, the Dean of the Institute Dr. Faisal Al-Alaf delivered a speech in which he welcomed the UQU President and the attendees. He said the Institute is embarking on setting a new distinguishing strategy to upgrade Hajj and Umrah research system and lauded the support and attention paid by the UQU President to the Institute. Then he was followed by a number of researchers of the Institute who addressed the audience about the role undertaken by the Institute in the field of Hajj and Umrah services.   

 


For his part, the President of UQU Dr. Bakri Assas praised the efforts exerted by the Institute in the field of Hajj and Umrah services and the support and interest of the wise leadership attached to the Institute. Additionally, he welcomed the new dean of the institute Dr. Al-Alaf and pointed out to his distinguished research expertise that led him to assume various posts in the field of scientific research. He also praised the ex-dean of the Institute Dr. Atif for his efforts which contributed to the development of the Institute explaining that the Institute represents a source of strength for the university because it's concerned with the fifth pillar of Islam, the Hajj.       
 


" No one could deny your expertise in the Hajj and Umrah seasons given that the Institute represents Hajj and Umrah research's book of secrets for its distinctiveness and uniqueness" he elaborated, adding that the institute's forum will be held in Madinah and will cover various topics on Hajj and Umrah Research.
