The General Supervisor of the Facilities and Services Department, Eng. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Jifri, revealed that the department has started a new plan to raise the efficiency of maintenance and operation works in (the buildings and facilities) of the university at Al-Abdiyyah Campus, as well as all the branches of the university.

Al-Jifri referred to the care and support of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, to create a stimulating and attractive educational environment. This will be achieved by activating the Unified Center and opening channels of communication with the users to receive urgent maintenance requests and process them as quickly as possible, around the clock.

He confirmed that the Department of Facilities and Services endeavors to increase the efficiency of operation, improve the level of services, apply power rationalization mechanisms, preserve assets and properties, and support e-transformation in its services.
