His Excellency Eng. Muhammad Al-Quwaihes, the Mayor of Holy Makkah Municipality, visited the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research yesterday, Tuesday. He was received by the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Sami Brahmin, and a number of vice deans and heads of departments.
During the visit, His Excellency reviewed the most important research and research programs which the institute is carrying out in the fields of environmental research, health, engineering and architecture, advanced technologies, and information technology, as well as other research fields, topics, and research developments. In addition, he reviewed the Information Bank System and the Geographic Information System developed by the institute.
Eng. Muhammad Al-Quwaihes also visited some of the specialized laboratories during his visit, expressing great interest in the work and efforts that were exerted. He also valued the ideas, competence, scientific capabilities, and accumulated expertise of the institute that would serve the city of Makkah and the Sacred Sites within the scope of the Secretariat's work. Dr. Sami Brahmin stated that all the consultancy work and services will contribute to the achievement of the programs and initiatives of the interested parties within the framework of the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
