The Department of Family Education at the College of Education held a voluntary educational awareness program entitled "Early Detection Saves Lives" to provide awareness about breast cancer for the female staff of the Southern Makkah Education Department.

The program was presented by Her Excellency Dr. Fatimah bint Musa`id bin Muhammad Al-Subhi and Her Excellency Dr. Fayzah bint Musa`id bin Muhammad Al-Subhi from 10 to 14 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.
