President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'tooq bin Bakri Assas met on Tuesday Muharram 17, 1438 H with the recently promoted employees to the higher ranks and departments directors at his meeting hall in Abdyia campus. The meeting was attended by the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou. 
 

At the commencement of the meeting, Dr. Assas congratulated the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir Shoushou on the occasion of renewing his mandate to another three years. He also congratulated the recently promoted employees to higher ranks and the directors who have assumed new administrative posts in the university and lauded their efforts and their national role in serving Umm Al-Qura University and their awareness of the responsibility placed on their shoulders, the thing that enabled them to perform their assigned tasks in  the most convenient manner possible under the support of our wise government. He emphasized that the sons of this blessed land are up to the responsibility and ready to undertake all tasks assigned to them, and they are dedicated to their work proceeding from their national role and their keen interest to undertake the responsibilities entrusted to them.     
   
 
"Everyone in this lofty scientific entity works with all his capacity and activity in line with the status  and the mission of this blessed university", he expounded.  
 

He went on to add that selection of the department directors in UQU takes place through specific criteria and standards in addition to their performance and high capability in their work. He urged them to fear Allah in undertaking the responsibility assigned to them and to  work to develop the skills of their employees and he prayed to Allah to grant them all success in serving the country and citizens. 

 
After that, the UQU Vice President delivered an address in which he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the UQU President for his permanent keenness to attend such meetings to encourage everyone to upgrade the level of performance and develop work system and his close follow-up to whatever guarantees the success of  the work in this university. He stressed that the University Vice Presidency is constantly working to improve the work and performance to keep abreast of the UQU's developmental  momentum under the close follow-up of the UQU President.
