A week of intellectual awareness lectures was concluded (praise be to Allah) with four informative lectures which were delivered by Their Excellencies the academic staff of the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion. The lectures were delivered last week in Sheikh Ibn Baz Hall, according to the following sequence:

The first lecture entitled, 'Impact of Belief on the Reformation of the Society', was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Prof. Lutfullah Mulla Khawjah at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, 14 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. It covered the following topics:

1. Returning to religiousness.
2. The Islamic legal opinion on the circulation of rumors.
3. Impact of belief on the protection of the society from negligence and extremism with regard to religiousness.

The second lecture entitled, 'Protection from the Temptations of Desires and Doubts', was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Hamdi Hamid Al-Qariqiri at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, 15 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. It covered the following topics:

1. Dealing with modern technology in a proper manner.
2. Necessity of adhering to the course adopted by prominent scholars.
3. Promotion of the concept of Muraqabatullah (awareness that Almighty Allah is watching us).

The third lecture entitled, 'The Means to be Steadfastness During Trials', was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Darbash Al-Zahrani at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 17 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. It covered the following topics:

1. Promotion of the concept of religiousness according to the doctrine of Ahl-ul-Sunnah wal-Jama`ah (adherents to the Sunnah and the Muslim mainstream).
2. Warning against relying on sources containing suspicious matters that hurl people into temptation.
3. Impact of maintaining security and stability on the prevention of trials.
4. Encouraging the Muslims to follow the approach adopted by the Salaf (righteous predecessors) in dealing with trials.

The fourth lecture entitled, 'Islamic Culture and Its Impact on Social Unity', was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Yusuf Abdullah Al-Bahuth at 11 a.m. on Thursday, 18 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. It covered the following topics:

1. The concept of Islamic culture and its impact on handling temptations and trials in one's faith.
2. The sources of Islamic culture.
3. The true Islamic culture created by the Salaf due to their correct understanding of religion.
