Department of Biology at Jamoum University College Holds the Meeting of the Advisory Committee for the Bachelor of Biology Program

Within the framework of the continuous endeavor to develop the outcomes of the Biology Department Program at Jamoum University College, based on the Department's vision and mission, and in order to achieve the requirements of institutional accreditation and quality, the first meeting of the Advisory Committee for the Bachelor of Biology Program was held on Thursday, 11 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Samir bin Hasan Muhammad Qari, the Head of the Biology Department at Jamoum University College, and was attended by members of the academic staff, engineers, and employers from inside and outside the College, including:

The participants discussed a range of topics that focused on the efficiency of the Bachelor of Biology Program, and the role of the outcomes in meeting the requirements of the labor market in light of the Saudi vision of 2030. They also reviewed the plan of the program and the development of its elements to serve the objectives of the Department stemming from the vision and mission of the Department and emanating from the vision and mission of the College and the University.

The meeting resulted in a number of recommendations that will develop the outcomes of the program and make the graduate more suitable for the labor market.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Qari thanked the attendees. His Excellency the chairman of the Committee praised the support given to the Department under the auspices of His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Tawfiq bin Ali Al-Sharif, under the directions of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), who seeks to develop the Jamoum University College and upgrade its outcomes.
