The Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Umm Al-Qura University concluded the Entrepreneurs Workshop for the Colleges' Vice-Deans for Academic Development and Entrepreneurship in the Institute's meeting hall, in the University City at Al-Abdiyyah.
Through the workshop, the Institute sought to train the target group and qualify them to carry out entrepreneurship and development work. Dr. Wajdi Qattan, the Institute's Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs, made a visual presentation to introduce to the Vice-Deans the innovation and entrepreneurship system at Umm Al -University, and its role, services and activities during the academic year 1439-1440 A.H.
Dr. Hisham Malak, the Institute's Vice-Dean, pointed out that the establishment of specialized workshops in the innovation and entrepreneurship fields comes within the scope of the Institute's plan, in line with the University's vision of excellence, both locally and regionally, in education and scientific research, community service, and entrepreneurship. He wished that this would be a distinctive start for cooperation between the Institute of Innovation and the colleges of the University, with all its branches, to develop the knowledge economy of the University, in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
