His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of Makkah Province, headed the municipal council meeting to discuss the development projects and acquaint himself with their progress. The undersecretary of Makkah Province, Dr. Hisham Al-Falih, and those in charge in governmental bodies attended the meeting at the headquarters of Jamoum governorate.

His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, participated in the meeting and praised the care and support of his Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal and the Deputy Emir of Makkah Province, His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz for the projects and activities of Umm Al-Qura University.

His Royal Highness witnessed the signing of two cooperative consulting and training agreements between Jamoum University College at Umm Al-Qura University and the Third Mills Company at Jamoum governorate. The agreement was signed by the Dean of the College, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sharif, the Governor of Jamoum, Mr. Imran Al-Zahrani, and the Executive Chairman of the Mills Company in Jamoum governorate, Eng. Mani` Al Mahdhal.

Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sharif pointed out that the two agreements fall within the societal partnership of the college, its educational message, and its research and cultural role. He indicated that this societal partnership aims to exchange experiences by holding training courses and consulting programs to make use of scientific research at the college within the framework of the governorate and its needs.
