The Umm Al-Qura University University Development and Quality Deanship and Educational Affairs Vice Presidency conducts the Fresh Academic Staff Members and Employees Program for the fifth round. Present were the University President, Dr Bakri ibn Ma’atuq A’asas; University vices presidency and academic staff members; together with the participation of the University supporting deanships and all the centers and departments. The Program took place at the historic King Abdul-Aziz Supporting Hall (males); and Elzahir-based Aljawharh Hall (female), on October 16th and 17th, 2016. The Program is to feature a lecture given by Dr. Mazen Bililah including a presentation about developing the leadership skills of the academic staff members for the National Transition phase 2030.
Still, Dr. Mohammed ibn Ja’afr Sabit, the University Development and Quality Deanship dean, underlined that generally the Program aims at providing the academic staff members with the knowledge they need for doing their job tasks in a smooth, effective way. It similarly targets familiarizing them with all the services which all the units and entities deliver at the University and helping them acclimatize and integrate with their new environment. The Program is to host around 100 academic staff members from all colleges. He went on to laud the support and interest of the University President and the University vices presidency for organizing such remarkable programs, which contribute to serving the academic staff members.
