The father of the Vice-Dean of Admission and Registration for Registration Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Qarni, passed away in the evening, the day before yesterday. The Funeral Prayer was offered for him at dawn yesterday, Thursday, at the Sacred Mosque in Makkah, and he was buried at Shuhada graveyard in Shara'i`.

The family of the deceased will receive consolations on Friday, at the house of the deceased in Jeddah, Hamdaniyyah district, beside Al-Taqwa Mosque, or via Dr. Ali Al-Qarni's phone number: 0556629588.

His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University, expressed his sincere consolation to the bereaved family, and supplicated Allah (Exalted be He) to encompass the deceased with His Mercy and Forgiveness, and to grant patience and consolation to his family.

Truly! To Allah we belong, and truly, to Him we shall return.
