His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), issued three administrative decisions that included the following:
- Appointing Dr. Basim bin Muhammad Anas bin Muhammad Khan Qadi Makhdum as General Supervisor of the Office of Scholarships for one year, as of 20 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., in addition to his current work as Advisor of the Deanship of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
- Appointing Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Jafri as General Supervisor of the Operations, Maintenance, and Services Department for a tenure of six months, as of 20 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1440 A.H.
- Renewing the appointment of Dr. Alaa' bint Abdul-Basit bin Abdullah Al-Malibari as Deputy Head of the Information Science Department at the College of Computer and Information Systems (Female Section) for a tenure of six months, as of 22 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1440 A.H.
His Excellency asks Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to help them and grant them success in performing their duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of the University to enable it to reach its desired goals.
