The University Development and Quality Deanship of the Umm Al-Quea University held a workshop about the requirements the University to meet for obtaining the academic accreditation. The workshop took place at the supporting King Abdul-Aziz Hall, and the female students’ Alzahir Aljawharh Hall vua the closed TV circuit. Present were the colleges vice deans and the development and quality officials of the academic programs.
The Development and Quality Dean, Dr. Mohammed Sabit pointed out that such a workshop aims at discussing the requirements of the next phase, and the role of the academic programs in qualifying the University for the Academic Accreditation. He went on to add that it was organized according to the directives of the University President, Baqri ibn Ma’atuq A’asas; and the Academic Development and Society Service Vice President, Dr. Hani Ghazi, in preparation of signing the accreditation and qualification contract with the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment. He further underlined that during the workshop, the detailed steps of the accreditation have been tackled as well as answering the participants’ questions and inquiries by the academic staff and those in charge of the development and quality processes regarding preparing the necessary documents and evidence.
