On Thursday afternoon, 13 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., at the College of Education, Umm Al-Qura University, the doctoral thesis submitted by student Nada Bint Hasan Muhammad Bajouda in the major of "Educational Administration and Planning" was defended. The title of her thesis is "Future Vision to Promote the Independence of Saudi Universities and Develop their Potential to Diversify their Sources of Funding in the Light of International Experiences."
The thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Abbas Bellah Muhammad, Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the Department of Educational Administration and Planning, Faculty of Education. The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Usaimi, Head of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy, at the College of Education, Taif University, and Associate Professor of Educational Administration and Planning (external discussant); and Professor Turki bin Kadimis Al-Utaibi, Head of the Department of Educational Administration and Planning and Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the College of Education, Umm Al-Qura University (internal discussant).
At the end of the discussion, the student was awarded the doctorate degree with “excellent” grade, with a recommendation to print the thesis and circulate it among different universities and scientific research centers.
