The Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Umm Al-Qura University (female section), signs a community partnership agreement with Umm Al-Qura Charity Association in Makkah. Dr. Nurah Al-Faruqi, the Institute Vice-Dean, represented the institute in signing the agreement, and Mrs. Zaynab Felemban, chairman of the board of directors, represented the Association. The agreement was signed in the presence of the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, the Assistant of the General Manager of the Branch of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Dr. Nawal bint Abdullah Al-Dubaiban, and some of the members of the administrative board of Umm Al-Qura Charity Association and the academic staff of the University in the meeting hall in the Association headquarters in Umm Al-Jud.
The agreement included the implementation of the rehabilitation program "My Safety" in the fields of security, and risk and crisis management for non-profit institutes.
After signing the agreement, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, expressed her approval of the Institute entering into the agreement. She added that the Institute is considered one of the experienced establishments in training and consulting that is of great benefit to agencies and sectors in a number of fields. She referred to the fact that this agreement is an extension of the efforts exerted by the Institute towards developing such sectors and agencies, and that it fulfills the University's strategy to complement these sectors and fulfill the Saudi Vision 2030. She also praised the support and guidance of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the University, the UQU Vice-President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Uthman Ghazi, the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri, and the Institute's vice-deans for their efforts and for their boundless support of the University and the public, in general.
On her part, Dr. Nurah Al-Faruqi clarified that the Institute is proceeding, praise be to Allah, according to a diverse developmental plan that contributes to offering various and qualitative programs to improve the quality of the services offered to these agencies and sectors. She also expressed her appreciation of the support of Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, and Dr. Halah Al-Amoudi, Dean of the University Studies for Girls, for their constant support of the Institute's Deanship, its programs and activities.
