UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Launches the Art of Development Program at Al-Zahir Campus

The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, launched the Art of Development Program organized by the College of Islamic Economics and Finance (Female Section) and held on Tuesday and Wednesday 26-27 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The activity that took place at the university campus in Al-Zahir was attended by the Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Hala bint Sa`id Al-Amoudi, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Direction, Guidance, and Community Partnership, Dr. Amal bint Omar Khairo Sindi, the Vice Dean of the College of Islamic Economics and Finance, Dr. Fayza Al-Lihiani, and the academic staff and students.


 
Dr. Al-Khuli toured the accompanying corners designed to provide students with useful methods of developing their scientific achievement firstly through psychological development, and then academic, technical, and professional development. She also checked on the corners that included women’s issues such as women’s role in Saudi Vision 2030, insurance in the economic development of countries, free drawing, quality of life, besides "Make yourself" and "Games"  sections. 


 
The ceremony began with a Quranic recitation, followed by a speech from Dr. Al-Khuli, who extended her thanks to the College of Islamic Economics and Finance for its eagerness to provide whatever is beneficial for students and increases their scientific achievement. Then Fayza Al-Lihiani spoke about the impact of development on the country's future and the students' significant role in achieving this.  Afterward, a documentary film about the concept of development was shown.  Then, the students of the college held a scientific discussion panel about the role of the Saudi woman in economic development in the framework of Saudi Vision 2030 and the role of universities in the development of education and Saudi Vision 2030.


 
On the second day, a lecture was given about the national transformation and privatization under the supervision of Mrs. Badriya Bagaar, Mrs. Mona Al-Sharif, and Mrs. Fatima Al-Utaibi. 


 
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Al-Khuli honored all those in charge of it and expressed appreciation for their efforts in making the event a success.
