The Head of the Department of Mass Communication in the College of Social Sciences, Dr. Salim bin Ali Urijah, opened a panel discussion on Draft Research Plans for master's students (third batch). This took place in the presence of the Department's academic staff and students, in the College meeting hall at Al-Abdiyyah campus.
The Head of the Department stressed the importance of establishing such qualitative programs that discuss the steps the researcher should take while preparing the research and promoting knowledge, and the procedures that each researcher must follow from the first step the researcher takes in writing the research plan, determining the title and typing the research, until he finally completes his research in a way that fits the research and scientific status of the Department.
Dr. Salim bin Ali Urijah announced the award of the department for the most efficient research according to the standards applicable in the research process that aim at urging students to enrich scientific research with excellence. He referred to the projects of the students that have been discussed in the fields of radio, television and public relations. He then praised the support provided by the Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Dr. Adnan bin Nuri Al-Harbi, toward the activities and programs of the Department.
