Her Excellency the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs Participates in the Cultural Activities of Student Affairs

Her Excellency the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, participates in the cultural activities organized by the Vice-Deanship of Student Affairs for Training and Activities. The activities were held in the presence of the vice-deans of supporting deanships, academic staff, and University affiliates on Monday, 25 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H., at Al-Jawharah Hall and Basement.

The ceremony started with a recitation of the noble Qur'an, then a speech by the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, who expressed her happiness about holding meaningful cultural meetings that participate in developing the cognitive awareness of the female students of the world around them. On her part, the Vice-Dean of Student Affairs for Activities and Training welcomed the noble attendants, and stressed the importance of keeping pace with cultural mobility that contributes in developing cognitive horizons in a frame of stimulation and distinction.

The activities began with the theater festival for persons with mental disabilities that aims at illustrating cases of mental disability, and the obstacles that face the sick when receiving medicine or meeting those whose responsibility is to administer their medication. Then, Her Excellency took a tour of the exhibition, hosted by the activity which was entitled, 'His Manner of Behavior (peace be upon him)'. It shed light on some of the situations and dealings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with some of his Companions, may Allah be pleased with them. Afterwards, Her Excellency visited the World Village Activity which briefed the attendants about Switzerland, its villages, and its most prominent technological, educational and health facilities. It also included an overview of its tourist landmarks, habits, traditions, and the style of dress of the Swiss.

At the end, Her Excellency the Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, praised the efforts of the Vice-Deanship of Student Affairs for Activities and Training and its keenness to hold such activities and to use the female students abilities to the benefit of the students themselves.
